Exiles boss Paul Coggins is hopeful that All Star nominee Lorcan Mulvey will be fit for London’s Division 4 opener against Wicklow on Sunday.

Mulvey lasted just ten minutes of Fulham Irish senior championship clash with Parnell’s before being withdrawn with a hamstring injury. However, Mulvey is expected to be able to feature against Wicklow along with fellow injury concerns Mark Gottsche, Seamus Hannon and Greg Crowley.

“I’m hoping they’ll be all ok,” said Coggins. “That may be asking for too much but at this moment it’s looking pretty good. We didn’t take any chances with them yesterday [Sunday].”

London warmed up for Wicklow with a challenge match against John Moores University of Liverpool at St Finbarrs in Coventry on Sunday. Cathal McCarron and Adrian Moyles both picked up dead legs in the game but are expected to be available for selection.

However, Coggins rates the chances of ex-Mayo panellist Michael Walsh, Dave McGreevey and Eoin O’Neill of being fit for Sunday’s game as ‘doubtful’.
