London footballer Tony Gaughan can contemplate a return to Croke Park on February 9 after helping Kiltane to victory over Clyda Rovers in their All Ireland Club IFC semi-final.

Gaughan was part of the London team which last year reached a first-ever Connacht SFC final, before lining out against Cavan at Croker in the All Ireland qualifiers. They’ll now meet Monaghan and Ulster champions Truagh in the final.

The London-based half back, who transferred back to his hometown club in Mayo following London’s exploits, contributed a point in Kiltane’s 2-9 to 0-9 win over Clyde Rovers of Cork.

Kiltane full back Rory Corrigan is also based in London while former London footballer John Scanlon is also on the panel.
