They say it is a young man’s game nowadays and evidence of that certainly paid its part in Dublin’s march to another All Ireland final appearance.
Last Sunday’s semi-final with Kerry was a contest that had everything and when six goals are scored it brings the excitement to another level, And no doubt Dublin as opposition bring out the best in the Kingdom and vice a versa.
This was how a game of football should be played and it is the talk of the country since the final whistle was blown. Football had been crying out for a game of this intensity and competitiveness but played in a spirit of freedom with players allowed to express themselves all over the field.
