September in the Northwest sees the start of the Senior Championship and St Peter’s will put their title on the line.

The defending champions have had a somewhat patchy league campaign as they have been hit by an abnormally high injury list. Long term injuries to Gary Morris and Liam Coyne will no doubt hamper their title defence but they have loads of experience to draw on.

Paudie O Shea, James Quinn and Desie O Malley are just three of those who have been there and done it while new signing Ross Nolan has been a revelation since joining.

As the draw for the round robin series has panned out they should progress comfortably through to the semi-final, Wolfe Tone, still a fledgling club have yet to make a serious impact on the Senior scene while St Lawrence’s have also struggled at this level for some time.
