Irish World man of the match Mark Gottsche said Sunday’s historic win was a victory for all who’d worked for the London cause over the years.
“There’s people here in London a long time who’ve battled away in the back ground, even the people out here,” said Gottsche. “We got a score with about ten minutes to go and the roar from the crowd lifted everyone.
“It’s great that the people of London came out and supported us. London GAA is moving onwards and upwards, and with the hurlers playing Liam MacCarthy it’s going to be a great year.”
