A scintillating second half display saw St Peters crowned All Britain champions for a third consecutive year against St Colmcilles at the Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham.

In what started as a competitive affair, St Peters came out in the second period with a vastly more significant and superior work rate, which was followed up by some out of this world finishing.

The victorious St Peter’s team performed superbly in a match that emphasized their diverse variety of attacking talent.

Despite this deserved praise for the St Peter’s forward line, it was actually the Lancashire team’s goalkeeper who stole the headlines after saving an early penalty and follow up shot from St Colmcilles forward James Knowles.

With an outstretched arm and showing a quick reflexed reaction off the ground, goalkeeper Joseph Sheehan pulled off two splendid back to back saves to halt the early pressure from St Colmcilles.
